A big thanks to all of you...

What a crazy ride the last five months have been! I hit publish on my novel in August 2024. Since then, I’ve signed a lot of covers, practiced talking to strangers about my work (not my forte), written a lot of blogs (and yet not enough), and dug deep for new book ideas. I’ve almost accepted that I am a bona fide writer. (Just kidding! I’m not, I’m an impostor! I’m playing dress up in big girl author clothes.)

Last week, I had over 2500 downloads of my novel. I sold books at an event to complete strangers who braved the rain and cold. I topped a few categories as a #1 best seller and broke the top 100 at Amazon for a day. I witnessed a book I wrote being checked out at the local library by a stranger. I cried over a five star review and hid from a few four star ones. I wrote a few chapters on the next book.

Despite the arctic cold, I am feeling the warmth! None of this would be possible without my amazing family, friends, and yes, all of the strangers kind enough to give a debut novel a read. A thousand thank yous and sunny days to all of you. <3 Mindi
